Go with the reviews that have 1 star. Worst billing system I have ever seen as well. Just try TO pay. Whoops, we're on holiday. Whoops, our internet site is down but there is no one to call. Whoops, the person at the hospital's main number told me she could take my credit card #. RIGHT...
Well, a couple of days later, the pain was once again excruciating enough to go to another ER. CHI Memorial was much more competent, did much more than a urinalysis, and discovered that I have PANCREATITIS.
The only reason they got one star is BC that's the only way I could comment.There maybe a few good ppl in there that actually care but all I can say is unprofessionally poorly trained staff with a big chip on their shoulder I wldnt take my dog there.
Send your loved ones anywhere but here.

I am writing this review from my hospital room at CHI Memorial in Chattanooga. Just a few days ago, I went to Parkridge West's ER for severe upper/middle back pain. The full extent of their testing was a urinalysis and feeling different areas of my back. They declared it to be muscle pain, even though I told them the pain felt deeper than that, and it didn't feel like muscle pain to me. They gave me 2 shots, 2 prescriptions (muscle relaxer and pain meds), and sent me on my way.
Much has changed from the way the hospital used to be run a few years ago and before that...the providers strive to do their best with the limited resources of being a free-standing ER without ability to admit people in house. If the wait is somewhat delayed, usually it is because it is single doctor coverage at times but all the providers strive for best patient care and positive outcomes. For a rural access area, this is a great little ER compared to others in similar locale. If you have something that you're okay with driving a little farther for, you always have the choice to drive to Chattanooga or other farther hospitals.
