Nice views but dirty dirty water. Stepped on dead fish and whole place smelled like a sewer. Trash everywhere at swimming area. Too much seaweed to swim
I have not camped here but I have visited the swimming and picnic area often. It is always clean and very peace place for a nice family outting big or small.
Stayed for a week. This is our second time staying. It's very clean, kid friendly, and quiet. We stay at multiple campgrounds every year but this one is by far one of the best. Great fishing too !!!
Southern hospitality at its finest. I parked my vehicle here over three nights without charge and booked a site at 8:15 pm upon my return. They even delivered dry wood to our site after booking...so kind. Lovely grounds, great boat launch and parking, what else do you need. Oh, the shower had real hot water...like scolding. Thank you so much Shellmound!
